SUJATA ENGG
Operating from Dhayari, Pune, Sujata Engineering delivers custom press tool dies, lathe turning, and rapid breakdown tooling maintenance for factories across Maharashtra.
Sujata Engineering was established in Dhayari, Pune to eliminate the major pain points industrial units face: multi-week lead times for tooling, expensive OEM replacements, and lack of emergency maintenance support when a die breaks mid-production.
Led by Arun Kedari, our workshop pairs practical shop-floor machining craft with strict metallurgy standards and CAD drafting precision. Clients speak directly with our workshop leadership—ensuring zero miscommunication, transparent pricing, and fast technical execution.
"Our workshop rule is simple: use authentic hardened tool steel, maintain exact punch-to-die clearances, and never promise a delivery deadline we cannot fulfill."
— Arun Kedari, Sujata EngineeringHow we ensure repeatable precision, zero-burr blanking, and prolonged tool life on your factory presses.
We machine dies exclusively from proven alloy grades—primarily AISI D2, HCHCr, and EN-31—with proper vacuum heat-treatment to 58–62 HRC.
Punch-to-die cutting clearance is calculated strictly based on sheet metal thickness and tensile strength to eliminate excessive burrs and edge chipping.
No CAD blueprint? We take physical worn dies, broken pins, or stamped sheet samples, measure critical datum points, and draft accurate manufacturing drawings.
You work directly with the craftsmen building your tooling. No sales middlemen, no communication disconnects, and direct answers to technical questions.
Our Dhayari facility is equipped to handle both one-off custom prototypes and high-volume production tooling.
Turning, facing, internal & external threading, step-turning, and precision boring for shafts, bushings, and guide pins up to industrial dimensions.
Micron-level flat and parallel grinding for die plates, punch faces, bolster blocks, and shear blades requiring razor-sharp cutting edges.
Dedicated alignment tables for progressive, compound, and single blanking die assembly, bolster alignment, and clearance verification.
2D/3D drafting workstation for AutoCAD drawings, blueprint reviews, punch-die clearance calculations, and reverse engineering.
Press brake bending, shearing equipment, and MIG/TIG structural welding for custom machine enclosures, guards, and architectural grills.
Calibrated digital vernier calipers, micrometers, dial test indicators, and hardness testing coordination for quality sign-off.
